BIN-Net: Business Informatics Network in Common Europe Project
THE BIN-NET PROJECT is a Joint Master Study in the field of Business Informatics developing a common curriculum, with partners from Austria, Ireland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.
THE PROJECT PARTNERS will develop and evaluate within 36 months a curriculum containing a well balanced mix of courses in business administration, computer science and electives. Each partner institution will develop courses according to its core competence(s), so guaranteeing the high quality of the prepared materials. The courses will be allocated ECTS-credit points according to the workload comprised
TARGET GROUPS are graduates of computer science and business administration studies, or any other diploma owners involved in the process of life long learning, aiming to gain skills in applied computer science.
THE EXPECTED OUTPUT of this project is a Post-gradual study programme of Business Informatics, recognized in all participating universities. The master programme will offer students important specialist qualifications in business administration and applied computer science as well as social skills, providing them with state of the art competences according to the Bologna Process.
THE EUROPEAN DIMENSION is strengthened by the award of a JOINT-MASTER DEGREE, the use of ECTS-credit points and DIPLOMA SUPPLEMENT.
Additional project aims are:
- Improving comparability and transparency of studies
- Facilitating work force mobility by diplomas recognized all over Europe
- Strengthen the competitiveness of the European Economy by highly skilled graduates.
